The 8th Annual All District Chorus Festival will take place in the Fred
Kavli Theater which is located in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza's
Performing Arts Center.
We are proud to offer this special concert in cooperation with the Conejo
Unified School District, the Conejo Schools Foundation, the Arts Council of
the Conejo Valley, the Alliance for the Arts, the City of Thousand Oaks,
and the Conejo Recreation & Park District, providing our students with an
exceptional opportunity to perform in a unique, and inspirational venue.
Students will perform in a culmination of Elementary School, Middle
School, and High School choral programs.
Performance Call time @ 6:30 pm.
Performance @ 7:00 pm
Dress White shirt and black pants/skirt
or school’s chorus attire.
Procedure Elementary Students must arrive at the Performing Arts theater by 3:00 pm. Middle & High School students must arrive by
4:00 pm. Transportation will not be provided. Parents must park in the parking structure located on Dallas Dr. and walk
their child to the front entrance of the theater by their school’s sign. There will be signs directing you where to go. From
this point, students will be escorted into the theater for rehearsal @ 3:15 pm for Elementary School students and 4:15 pm
for Middle & High School students. Elementary students will be escorted @ 5:00 pm back to the front of the theater to
their respective school’s sign. Parents must pickup their child from this point. Middle & High School students will be
instructed by their choir teachers on pickup procedure. This will be the procedure for drop-off and pickup on the night of
the concert. The approximate length of the concert will be about 60 minutes.
The All District Chorus Festival is a four day event.

Tickets The cost of renting the
Fred Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza is paid by
charging $5.00 per ticket to attend the festivals. Tuition for each
semester of the Elementary Chorus Program includes one (1) non-refundable
ticket to the Chorus Festival. All tickets are distributed either at
the dress rehearsal or at the door of the performance. Additional
tickets at $5.00 each can be purchased at the door. The Conejo
Schools Foundation will also sell $5.00 tickets and $25.00 Founders
Circle tickets on their website beginning in February 2012.

You may pick up your
festival tickets outside the doors of the Performing Arts Theater
between 3:00 pm - 7:30 pm on the day of the concert. All other
students who have not registered with the Arts Council of Conejo
Valley may purchase additional tickets @ $5 each between 3:00 pm
-7:30 pm at the same location.

2012 Chorus Festival Volunteers Parent volunteers will assist with crowd control and will
assist to safely escort the students into the theatre; escort students who
need to go the restroom during the rehearsal from the stage to the restroom
outside near the Box Office; and help escort students from the theatre to
the outside waiting area after the rehearsal. This year all Music Festival Volunteers will be selected by each Elementary Music Instructor.
